Randy Rotte

Regional Director; India, Asia, and Pacific International Sales | Boeing Defense, Space, and Security

Randy Rotte is responsible for leading and supporting international sales campaigns for the breadth of Boeing defense products and services across India, Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia within Global Sales & Marketing. He oversees in-country teams in the region and the pursuit of foreign military sales and direct commercial contract opportunities.

In his previous role as the Aviation Systems manager in the Boeing Government Operations office, he managed, coordinated and integrated all Washington activities associated with H-47 Helicopters, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and future Army aircraft efforts.

Prior to joining the Boeing Team, Randy spent 26 years in service to the nation as an officer in the U.S. Army, retiring as a Colonel in Army Aviation. His Army career was filled with assignments that included both command in tactical units as well as key strategic-level staff positions. Randy twice commanded units during combat operations – as a company commander in 1991 during Operation Desert Storm and as the commander of an aviation battalion in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

In between these command assignments, he was a professor of Mathematics at the USMA and worked in the U.S. Senate as a Congressional Fellow for Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas. Additionally, he served as a senior fellow in the DC-based think tank, the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies. Randy’s career culminated in a 4-year tenure in the Pentagon that was marked by influential assignments within the aviation community as both the Deputy Director of Army Aviation in the Army G-3 and the Chief of the Aviation Division within the G-8.

He holds a BS in Computer Science from USMA and two Masters Degrees (one in Applied Math and one in Operations Research) from RPI.
