Juan Carlos Baker is a founding partner at Ansley. He is also a former official with over two decades of professional trajectory in Mexico´s Federal Government, and a lecturer on trade and economics at the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico City. Prior to his current activities, he worked in the Mexican government, including most recently as Vice Minister for Foreign Trade. During his tenure as Vice minister, he played a leading role in trade and investment negotiations with North America (USMCA), Europe (EU-Mex FTA), and the CPTPP. He has edited and collaborated in several books regarding trade and regional economic integration and Latin America.
